THE ALCOHOL FORUM

As part of an animation module at our college we were given an industry standard brief to complete character designs and an animation within 6 weeks to spread the awareness of alcohol related brain injuries as requested by our clients.

The requirements of the project were to create character designs to appeal to audiences of all ages. Have a main character and show the ageing process of that character effectively. Have an understanding of ARBI and create an animation to spread awareness of it that can be understood by all who watch. Must be 3 minutes in length.

I animated the film using a mixture rigged animation and frame by frame on Adobe Animate/ Flash.

I overcame the problems of faced of time constraint and slow feedback from clients, achieving my distinction in the module and winning second place overall, but most importantly, I managed to incorporate all that my client asked for, leading them to ask me about the possibility to work on further projects with them in the future.
